The previous landscape for this project had been installed by the previous owner. When our client purchased this home, we were contacted by him to consult on improvements. The main objectives were to provide screening to the septic area behind the back patio, improve drainage/erosion control, revamp the irrigation system to improve plant/grass growth, and to improve planting beds on the perimeter and driveway island. At this elevation, in this climate, selecting plants is difficult, therefore detailed rock work and strategic planting areas are a good solution. Erosion is our biggest challenge in the area, as you are not just controlling your own space, but everything uphill as well.
